Remnants of an old Canal Lock Door.
THE UNION CANAL still has some left over’s from more than 200 yrs. ago. This old Lock Door was repaired once in the many years that have passed. It does not work anymore, but you can still see how they operated. Lock Tenders had to open and close these heavy wooden doors by hand.
