HDR

This is a photo of a old Mill that I converted into HDR.

I have always liked changing my photo’s into HDR with the Photomix program that I have.  HDR adds so much more to the photo.  At least, I think so.  Some people out there say that HDR is not photography.  I tend to disagree with that.  If your photo is done right, the HDR will just enhance it more than what it was.  However, adding too much Tone Map to the Image can destroy it.  I’m careful not to do that.  When I first started doing this I think that I had added too much Tone Map and it sort of messed everything up.  I learn as I go along.

Thank you.

Les

  1. The sky looks kind of weird here in my computer, and there’s a lot of cyan fringing around the tree. Better be careful with these two aspects. Maybe you don’t notice it in your computer?
