This is just one of the few Mills left from the day’s when flour was ground from corn by water powered machinery.

Built in the early 1800’s, as most of them were, it still has the working wooden machinery inside.  The “feed pond” for the water wheel was located behind the Mill.  It has long dried up and no longer there.  All that remains is a large depression in the ground.

Like the other old Mills around my area, this one is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places in PA

Thanks for reading & stopping by.
