Taken from my Model Collection, the 1967 Ford GT500
It took me 3 different times to photograph this Model. Each time I did this, a terrible “yellow” tint was in the background. I hated this. Could not get rid of it, until I found out that you can set your camera for different types of Light. I didn’t know that. So, I checked it out on what I was told. I was using my home made “light box” for the Image and also was using normal lighting from 2 different lamps that I had around the house. The Lamps work good, but have a bad problem showing a “yellow” tint from the Tungston lightbulb. This is where that horrid yellow comes from.
After checking on how to change White Balance on my Nikon, I set it to a brighter balance. Then on my 4th try, this is what the camera showed. No more yellow tint. I, of course, did some small enhancement with Lightroom CC, but it was not much. There is also something else. Don’t forget to change your camera back to the original settings, or you’ll be reminded quickly.
