Took a drive up to the Historic Old City of Bethlehem, PA to see the buildings that have been here since the 1700’s.
Just some of the buildings that are on Main Street. A nice style.
This used to be a Tannery long ago.
The Spring House.
Located along the Main St. of Historic Bethlehem are a few small outside cafe’s where you can order drinks or food. Thought this one was nice, so I stopped in for some coffee and a bite to eat. Never been in one of these, so thought I’d give it a try. Prices were a bit stiff. Cup of coffee was $3.50! That surprised me. Ordered some eggs, bacon, and potatoes. My total bill for this was $15.38. The food was very good, despite the price.
While sitting waiting to pay my bill at the Cafe, I noticed the Police on horseback patroling the City street’s. However, they were riding on the sidewalk which I found strange. Never knew this was done, but guess that it is. The Police were very friendly to talk with so I asked “What is done if the horse poops on the sidewalk?” He answered “We have to stop and put the poop into a special bag we carry right here.” Well, that was a new one for me. I liked the color of the Grey horse. They are very well taken care of.
Thanks for stopping by.
